NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (3) of Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 (3 of
1956) and in continuation of Gazette notifications No.F.87-92/58 (CUPI dated 1.12.58 F.33-72/59
(CUP)dated 17.11.1960, and F.33-87/63 (CUP) dated 6.6.64 the University Grants Commission
with the approval of the Central Government hereby specifies the following additional degrees for
the purposes of the said section:

Master’s Degree

1. Master of Physical Education (M.P.E.)

Bachelor’s Degree

1. Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.E.)
