Sir/Madam,
In continuation to this office letters D.O.No,F.3-l/2000(PS) dated 4.4.2000 and No.F.1-1/
2002(PS)/Exemp dated 31.7.2002 vide which the UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications
for appointment and Career Advancement o Teachers in Universities and Colleges were issued,
it is further to inform you that the Commission has decided to grant relaxation of 5% (from 55%
to 50%) of marks at the Master’s level to the Physically and visually handicapped persons in
appointments as Lecturer in the Universities and Colleges.

This may also be brought to the notice of the Institutions/Colleges affiliated to your University.
