Brief Information

• To monitor the various welfare schemes of SC/ST/OBC of UGC mainly CCM, COC, NFE and SCT.
• To disburse the grant for the guarantee (all HEIs) Institutions.
• To reply the Parliamentary question’s.
• To attend the various welfare Parliamentary Standing Committee on the SC/ST/OBC as instructed by UGC authorities.
• To attend the hearing of various National Commissions; SC/ST and OBC Commissions including Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities
• To prepare the replies audit paras of CAG.
• To prepare the date related to SC/ST/OBC both teaching and non-teaching including admission.
• To assist and help in prepare the policy guideline especially NEP 2020 related to weaker sections.
• To provide inputs to legal cases.
