Colleges With Potential for Excellence (CPE)

University Grants Commission introduced the CPE Scheme to provide financial support to colleges for improving academic infrastructure, adopting innovations in teaching, learning and evaluation and also to introduce a flexible approach in the selection of courses at the degree level.
The main objective of the Scheme was to help selected colleges to achieve excellence mainly in teaching activity and initiate a research culture in such colleges.
Accounts are being settled of the colleges selected under the CPE Scheme.
