Brief Information

• Finalization of accounts in all the schemes (XI & XII Plan) and issuance of NOCs: NRCB has initiated various action plan to settle the accounts and achieved ample success rate in 2020-21 with meagre available resources. As no funds available with UGC for committed liabilities in current financial year, the Bureau reviewed and re-examined the documents in various schemes and finalized the accounts without any reimbursement
  Targets for implementation for UGC Quality Mandate initiatives in HEIs: To attain the target, NRCB has been circulating and directing the grantee colleges under its purview. Bureau has made plan to expand its approach to all self-financing, private and unaided colleges under Northern Region by collecting data from different available resources so that standard and quality of higher education should be maintained in higher education
  To review existing schemes for its continuance: As already guidelines for Block Grant 2018 uploaded on UGC website, but no orders for inviting proposal from colleges have been received
  Special Scheme of PMDP-2015 – Construction for Girls Hostels in 7 GDCs in UT of J&K and Ladakh
  RTIs/Public Grievances/VIP References/Legal Matters/Parliament Questions
